Fun times, bad drawings.

So I was with my boyfriend for his birthday. We had a great time! But I found out I need a lot more practice drawing him...and a guitar for that matter.
Or I could just say that I couldn't concentrate on my drawing because of his pure awesomeness.

Um, look a wheelbarrow.

It's a lonely wheelbarrow. Sitting in water. At the High Line. Please be distracted from the fact that I haven't posted anything up in almost a month.

Parks: Mothers with kids, men reading the papers, and a traditional horn ceremony?

Took one of my usual walks to the High Line and sketched what I saw. I didn't expect to see three people in traditional dress, carrying a ceremonial horn, followed by a crowd of people. Later I googled it:

Revisiting old characters

These two characters are from an idea for a TV series I thought up along time ago and have thought about recently. The drawings on the end are ones that I drew a year or two ago and the middle drawings are the ones I did today, trying to flesh out my idea of the characters. But I'm still not quite there yet with the character designs. I expect a lot more drafts.

Eventually I want to write a script for a pilot episode and then, maybe, if I feel like it will go any where, I would like to animate it.

Backyard Relaxing

I was visiting my boyfriend, Juno, again and we were chilling on the back porch, sketching. His niece (age 2) came outside to see us.

Me: Hey do you know what I'm drawing?
Niece: Trees!
Me: Yeah!
Juno: Grass isn't pink.
Me: That's the shadows, and that's how it works in my world.
